Reshma Vanarse Chainani, Chief Executive Officer, Vansum Group of Companies Pune IT Park strived hard and thrived well in the maledominated industry of real estate office space and agrochemical manufacturing.
Pune IT Park is the city's first private IT Park that began its operations back in 2000, with an aim to be the real estate partner of the growing IT sector in Pune and specifically tailored to support and nurture aspiring entrepreneurs to start their own business. The th group celebrates its 55 anniversary on 18 Jan 2025.

An Exceptional Leader
A dynamic and charismatic personality, Ms. Reshma
joined the Vansum Group in 2009 as CFO and took
over as the Group CEO in early 2020. Prior to joining
the Vansum Group, Ms. Reshma extensively worked
in the SME and private banking space with leading
banks like Citibank (Singapore & Mumbai), BNP
Paribas (Bengaluru) and ANZ Grindlays (Delhi).
She is a silver medalist in B.E. Polymers from the University of Pune and a Diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI Hyderabad. Additionally, she completed various management development programs such as Women's Management Program in Family Managed Businesses from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai and Family Business (FBOSIS) and Enhancing Leadership Skills (ELCPW) from IIM, Ahmedabad.
“It has been a challenging yet rewarding journey, offering fresh perspectives in managing the Pune IT Park, providing comprehensive infrastructure for IT/ITES companies with top-notch amenities and exceptional service that carries a personal touch. Additionally, my experience as a woman entrepreneur in the agro-chemical industry, along with my finance background, has been instrumental in running the business and boosting turnover, even during the challenges of COVID,” Reshma adds.
