Back in 1965, Mr. Sharashchandra
Tukaram Mulay, (Diploma in Civil
Engineering from Government Engineering
College, Dhule) started small construction activities
with just spade and hammer on his bicycle.
Later, he emerged a player in the construction field covering all government construction departments excluding electricity and railways, with his firm - S T Mulay & Co. To him goes the onus of completing major irrigation canals, and aqueducts, Maharashtra State Transport Bus Stand and Depot at Daund, etc. to name a few.
Later in 1982, Mr. Jitendra Sharashchandra Mulay (Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Dharwad College of Engineering) joined the business. Major construction works continued its flair. The company name was changed to J S Mulay & Co. during this time from 2011 to 2020. Industrial Building constructions industrial sheds major earthworks and equipment foundations were executed along with institutional building construction, engineering college campus constructions, hospital buildings and resorts.

The Inception of Swam Infratech
- In the years, 2014 and 2017 Mr. Shrikant Jitendra Mulay (DCE, BE Civil, PG-ACM NICMAR, PGC MSc TEO Newcastle UK) and Mr. Chaitanya Jitendra Mulay (DCE BE Civil) joined the family business to support growth and prosperity. In 2020, the company was declared Private Limited with the present name of Swam Infratech Private Limited. The family business legacy continued with execution of construction contracting in the field of industrial and infrastructure.
- Presently, the company is executing heavy industrial equipment foundation construction contracts along with specialized turnkey contracts of retaining walls for National Highways Authority of India through its various stake holders.
- Presently there are four Directors in the company - Jitendra S Mulay, CMD; Shrikant J Mulay, Director; Chaitanya J Mulay, Director and Rajesh B Khanvilkar, Director – Projects.
Expansion Plans
In the next ten years the company plans to ensure its
footprints across the globe in the form of branch
office/affiliate.
